The Golden Key Hunt – Official Rules

No Trespassing

The Golden Key is hidden on public land. No trespassing on private property is allowed. Violators may be disqualified.

No Digging Required

The key is hidden in plain sight. There’s no need to dig, climb, or damage any property.

Follow Local Laws

All participants must obey city, state, and federal laws during their participation. Lifestyle Evolutions is not liable for any unlawful actions taken during the hunt.

Respect Local Businesses

If a clue leads you to a business location, please respect that business’s property, rules, and hours of operation.

Registration Required to Win

Only participants who have officially registered for the hunt are eligible to claim the prize and receive more clues. Unregistered individuals who find the key are not eligible.`

Open House Etiquette

Clues may be made available at select local real estate open houses. These are active home listings. Please be respectful—bonus clues will be provided without requiring you to enter the property.

One Winner Per Hunt

Only the first verified registrant to find and report the key will win the prize. Additional prizes or honorary mentions may be announced at the organizer’s discretion.

Play Fair

No vandalism, sabotage, or sharing clues online. Let’s keep the hunt fun and fair for everyone.

No Clue Trading or Selling

Bonus clues provided by businesses or real estate partners are for registered participants only and may not be copied, shared, sold, or published publicly.

Just register online. All you need is your phone to follow clue emails and show your Hunter Pass.

No, the participation in the hunt is completely free! Although we encourage supporting local businesses, no purchase will be required to receive clues along the way. Just sign up and start your adventure!

Yes! Clues will be available at participating open houses, and serious buyers and sellers are welcome to tour the home. However, those only interested in the hunt can still receive the clue without entering the house.

Yes, clues are only available during regular business hours. Participants may be asked to show their “Hunter Pass” inside the business to receive the clue.

If the Golden Key is removed or tampered with, it will be replaced in the original location while we investigate what happened and track the original.

It’s over a foot in size — if you find it, you’ll know it!

Yes, anyone can join! Registered hunters can participate in any active Golden Key Hunt, but can only receive clues for one hunt at a time. Once selected, a hunt cannot be switched for at least 30 days.

Absolutely. As long as you’re properly registered and follow all the rules, you’re eligible to win future hunts.
